Fort Hamilton was built in 1870's by the British incase of any attacks from sea by American forces. The fort offers visitors amazing views of the City of Hamilton and numerous cannons, ramparts and gun emplacements. The fort also boasts beautiful gardens which host a 30ft wide dry moat that surrounds the fort's grounds and has been turned into a walkway for visitors.
No admission fee. Open from 9a.m to 5p.m every day.
