Volunteers Needed to Help at Meals on Wheels.

Meals on Wheels delivers meals throughout the Island on Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Fridays.  We are currently in need of a few individuals to deliver meals to clients, or assist in our kitchen preparing meals, one day a week, on a regular basis.

We are also in need of persons who don’t necessarily want to commit to delivering every week consistently but who can cover for volunteers who are temporarily off.  (Anywhere from a few weeks to a few months.)

Delivery will take about 1.5 - 2 hours of your time, from approximately 11 am until 1 pm, or from 8:30 am until – 11:30 am for the kitchen.

It would be time well spent and a wonderful way to assist those in our community that need a bit of help.
