Stevedoring Services Limited (SSL) is a subsidiary of Polaris Holding Company Ltd. SSL was formed in 1966 as a privately held Bermuda Incorporated Company. In 1983 it restructured to become a publicly traded company and was listed on the Bermuda Stock Exchange (BSX). It traded on the BSX as Stevedoring Services until 25 March 2011 when it voluntarily delisted as a process requirement for the creation and the listing of the new parent & holding company, PHC on 28 March 2011.

SSL remains the principal stevedoring company for the Hamilton docks in Bermuda. It has operated continuously since formation under licence agreements awarded by The Corporation of Hamilton.
