Land Tax is a property tax charged on all of the developed land throughout Bermuda.

Land taxes generate stable and predictable revenue for the government and are utilized for services in defense, health, education and emergency services, and to improve the quality of life and environment in the community. Land Tax is calculated keeping several factors in mind, such as the location, property type, size, ancillaries and amenities.

The Land Valuation Department collects information for the sole purpose of compiling and maintaining a valuation list. The information is kept confidential and made available to the public on an individual valuation unit basis.
